The 9th Scientific/expert conference with international participation "QUALITY 2015" was held between 10th and 13th of June in Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year, the conference was part of the TEMPUS project EQIWBC.
The 96 papers by 277 authors and co-authors from 11 countries of Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Estonia) was accepted and printed in the Proceedings.
The event was attended by more than 70 participants who enriched authors' presentations with numerous discussions. That gave a special contribution to the quality of the conference. Participants agreed that this event justified their expectations and expressed their full support to the continuation of these activities.
The conference started with plenary session with two keynote presentations, and continued to work in sections depending on the topics of papers by individual authors. The largest number of papers was in the area of product and process quality, followed by metrology, quality in higher education, environmental protection, etc.
Round table "What brings the new ISO 9001"
As part of the 9th Scientific/expert conference with international participation QUALITY 2015, a round table entitled "What brings the new ISO 9001" was organized. This topic is actual due to the recent version of this most popular standard, and we felt that participants should receive up-to-date information about the changes that await us in the new edition.
Keynote speaker was Goran Kliškic, from TUV NORD Croatia. He explained the changes expected in the new edition of the standard, in a popular manner. After the presentation, the discussion on this subject continued, where the participants gave their opinions and concerns about some of the upcoming changes. All participants are hoping that new edition will contribute to new quality in organizations that adopt and implement this standard.
