Monday, March 16th
Project activities started on Monday 16th. The representative of University of Agriculture, Doc. Ing. Zuzana Kapsdorferova, has delivered welcome presentation for WBC partners from University of Montenegro, University of East Sarajevo, University of Zenica, University of Kragujevac and Business inovation centre LLC Kragujevac.
Participants discussed about the activities which will occurre in the following days. After the meeting, ing. Eva Kapralova presented the campus of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. University capacities in the terms of quality management and centers that operate within the University were presented.
Tuesday, March 17th
On the second day, the hosts (ing. Veronika Hrdá, PhD., ing. Alexandra Malejcíková, PhD and ing. Stanislava Pavláková) took the group to visit BIOCENTRUM facility in Modra by bus. The representatives of this Food institute have delivered short presentations about implementing quality standards in field of food processing and for creating of new products based on their local traditional customs. After presentations, facilities, machines and food engineering processes which they use to ensure the best quality of their products were presented.
Shortly after, the whole group and the hosts from University of Agriculture summed up impressions and discussed about earlier events and future activities.
Wednesday, March 18th
The group headed to another presentation at Association JAVYS in Jaslovské Bohunice. Presentation pointed that nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice have a big part in the energy security of Slovakia and that holds a key position in the Middle European region, with emphasis on maximum safety as well as quality and preservation of the environment. The important goal of this company is to act responsible and deliver realization of the final stage of nuclear power industry. The company’s activities and business planning result in maintaining and increasing financial prosperity as well as economic stability.
Different operations, maintenance and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, used nuclear fuel management and procedures for implementations of ISO standards were presented to the participants.
During a free tour the group watched a 3D movie about V1 NPP decommissioning and looked at the models of V1 NPP, reactor WWER 440 or Bohunice site and see other interesting exhibits.
Working diner for the participants was held with special guest who is an expert in field of quality system management.
Thursday, March 19th
On Thursday, the group visited University of Agriculture where representatives of University of Agriculture (Doc. ing. Jozef Repiský, PhD., prof. RNDr. Zdenka Gálová, CSc. Doc., prof. ing. Ludmila Nagyová, PhD.) have talked about quality management curricula at this University. Meeting was held.
Ing. Zuzana Kapsdorferová, PhD continued the activities by talking about instruments for enhancement of University-industry relationships and afterwards prof. Ing. Elena Horská PhD closed the meeting for WBC partners by talking about University relationships with international partners and how they tend to enhance and improve those relations.
Friday, March 20th
At the final day of visit, the group had final working meeting where current issues, planned future meetings were discussed. The closing session took part after launch.
